Both Oli and Dario plan to move over to using the Hughes and Kettner amps in the summer of 2008 for all their live shows, they will be using a mix of the H&K Tri-amp and the H&K Switchblade. Trials on the exact spec' and set up for each guitarist started late in '07 as soon as the new equipment is confirmed we'll post up the new set-ups.

Here's the first section of an interview I carried out with the lads when I caught up with them in the latter part of 2007.
In the second interview I did with the guys I get their views on... the state of the music business from an insider's perspective, plans for [sub]NOVA in 2008, tour/gig stories, whether having a new drummer will alter [sub]NOVA in any way? and then I get the guys' opinions on bands, promoters, venues, management and much more! Right guys what would you say is your all time favourite film?

Gaz- Banoogie! Thats a great word....if not that then MINT! Chris-Fair enough
Matt- Cock, Dario-Joder or Sweeeet, Oli- RIPPER! [Gaz and Matt chuckle then hurl abuse for the next 10 minutes at Oli then at each other]
Fave colour?
Gaz- Blue, Dario- Grey, Matt- Black, Chris- White, Oli- Green [again a debate as to whether black & white are colours, takes one cup of strong coffee, several insults and other child-like name calling which eventually quietens down and we carry on with the questions. Looking beyond the banter though you do get the overwhelming impression that this is a very tight unit.
What would your last meal would be?
Matt- Curry, Dario-Italian, Chris- Dime Bars, Oli - Pizza, Gaz- A very, very long one...or Curry

Dario- First gig in my life: I got absolutely wasted and couldn't even play...sorry to those people that came to see me lol!

So as an opposite what do you like in a person?
Gaz- Flattery ...come on be honest who doesn't? Matt- Not being Robbie Williams,
Dario- Humility, Wisdom and Good taste, Oli –Modesty, Chris- Patience, Silence and Grace.
How do you write/compose the majority of your songs?
Gaz-Invention/ Expansion...Performance...What a stupid question! Matt -Loudly,
Dario- We don't write them... Robbie Williams does!! Oli - starting with a small invention known as the WALKERTRON,
Chris- By being ourselves.
Who in general writes the songs?
Gaz- We all do! serious I know a lot of bands say that but we do.
Give us examples as to what some of your songs are about and any stories attached to any specific songs!
Gaz- We write about all sorts of stuff, just things that have effected us at one time or another. Our family & friends...drug/ alchol abuse, marital stuff, loves/ friends lost, gained and sometimes forgotten, being fruit loops, friendships both good and bad, helping hands and damaging words...that kind of stuff.
What would you say the band name means to you?
Gaz-LESSER STAR or summat like that, Matt- NOTHING - IT'S A MADE-UP WORD, Oli-SOMETHING IN CONTINUOUS EXPANSION,
Dario- F**k knows, Chris- It means eerr... myself or something deep and s**t
